It all comes alive in one weekend - Rock the Universe, September 11th and 12th, where the biggest names in Christian rock take the stage at Universal Studios® theme park. From two stages throughout the park - including the brand new Music Plaza - your favorite bands play into the night. Between sets, you get to enjoy the action-packed thrills of the number one movie and TV based theme park in the world, including the brand new Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster! Grab your friends and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of music and thrills that'll rock your soul.
Some of the bands that will be @ this years Rock the Universe are: and many more. Along with the bands, this year has some great guest speakers: Donny Robinson (BMX Motorcross champion), Mark Stuart (lead singer of Audio Adrenaline), Barlow Girl. You will wrap up your whole weekend with a non-denominational worship service on Sunday morning. This service will feature praise and worship music along with an inspirational message. This will cover travel, hotel room, and three day ticket to Universal Studios and Island of Adventure. Sign-up for the Rock the Universe trip will be taken during the dV8 meetings and the final payment will be due by September 2, 2009.
